Festival
The Baosheng Cultural Festival (保生文化祭) continues this week at Taipei's Baosheng Temple located at 61 Hami St, Taipei (台北市哈密街61號). This will include an exhibition on Chinese medical science this weekend, open between 9am and 5pm, tours of the temple on Sunday at 10am and 2pm. On Thursday, former Taipei mayor and founder of the Taiwan People’s Party (TPP) Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) was sentenced to 17 years in prison and had his civil rights suspended for six years over corruption, embezzlement and other charges.
