Acer Inc’s (宏碁) home appliance subsidiary Acerpure Inc (宏碁智新) yesterday said that it aims to double its revenue from last year’s NT$990 million (US$30.03 million), driven by demand for large appliances in Southeast Asia and India.
The company’s revenue in the first two months of this year grew 36.04 percent year-on-year to NT$1.68 million.
Annual revenue this year is expected to post at least double-digit percentage growth, Acerpure chairman Andrew Hou (侯知遠) said at a product launch in Taipei.

Acerpure’s product portfolio centers on smart lifestyle and home appliances, including air and water purifiers, fans, cleaning items, kitchen appliances, personal care products and large appliances such as TVs, Hou said.
Home appliances accounted for about 70 percent of revenue last year, company data showed.
Overseas markets contributed more than 80 percent to revenue, the data showed.
India accounted for about 30 percent of total revenue last year and is expected to rise to 35 percent this year, as the company has more than 1,000 offline sales channels in the country after it established an Indian subsidiary in 2024, Acerpure president Stanley Kao (高國書) said.
The company plans to establish a subsidiary in Indonesia, with Taiwan remaining its primary design and production base, he said.
Acerpure is considering expanding into markets such as Malaysia, Vietnam and Japan, where it sees demand for air conditioning devices, Hou said.
The company plans to pursue organic growth as well as mergers and acquisitions to support stable expansion, he said.
Acerpure plans to list its shares on the Taipei Exchange next month.
