Huáhua: Hǎoxiàng shì ei, nánguài wǒ kàndào péngyǒu de xiànshí dòngtài quán shì yí piàn yínbáisè huāhǎi~
清清:我去年跟家人去爬草嶺古道,那整片芒草在陽光下閃閃發光,很美!
Qīngqing: Wǒ qùnián gēn jiārén qù pá Cǎolǐng Gǔdào, nà zhěng piàn mángcǎo zài yángguāng xià shǎnshǎn fāguāng, hěn měi!

Qingqing: Huahua, has the silvergrass started blooming recently?
Huahua: I think so. No wonder all my friends’ Instagram stories are filled with silvery-white flower fields.
Qingqing: Last year, I hiked the Caoling Historic Trail with my family. The whole field of silvergrass sparkled under the sunlight — it was beautiful.
Huahua: Do you have any photos? I’d love to see them.
Qingqing: I do, but it was super windy that day — my hair was even messier than the silvergrass.
Huahua: That’s more natural. Are you going to give it another try this year? I’m looking for someone to do an outdoor photo shoot — want to be my model?
Qingqing: Sure. I haven’t been hiking for a long time either. We can start the hike from Fulong, and we can even take some Fulong lunchboxes with us. When we take a break, we can find a spot to sit down, eat, and enjoy the view of the silvergrass.
Huahua: No problem — let’s head out this weekend then.

Have you ever argued with your parents about politics, news or social issues? Maybe you think their opinions are outdated, while they claim you have been brainwashed by the Internet. The truth is, neither of you is wrong. You’re simply living in different “filter bubbles,” seeing entirely different versions of reality. A filter bubble forms when Web sites use algorithms to predict what content you want. Based on the videos you watch on YouTube, the TikToks you linger on or the articles you click, the system feeds you more of the same. Before you know it, you’re stuck in

A document long considered an unofficial copy of the “Magna Carta” has been identified as a rare original issued by King Edward I in 1300. Tucked away in Harvard Law School’s library, the manuscript was acquired in 1946 for a mere US$27.50. Medieval history professors from King’s College London used ultraviolet light and spectral imaging to analyze the faded text. They found that the handwriting, wording, and word order perfectly match those of the six other surviving charters from that year. The Magna Carta was the first document to formally assert that the king is subject to the law. It remains a
