Forget taking the dog for a walk. This dog would rather drive — as long as he’s at the wheel.
Musician Bryan Maher was in a Long Island cafe near New York when he noticed his Ford van on the move and his dog Bentley, a hefty boxer and Shar-Pei mix, at the wheel.
“I left my car running because it’s cold outside and I didn’t want my dog to freeze,” Maher told the Daily News. “The next thing I knew, I looked up to see my van coming at me in the window.”
Bentley, who had somehow set the parked vehicle in motion, crashed into the cafe window. No one was hurt, though.
“Bentley was wagging his tail afterward,” cafe owner Patricia McCarthy told the News.

忘了蹓狗這回事吧！這隻狗寧可自己開車─—只要他坐上駕駛座。
當時在紐約附近長島一家咖啡店內的音樂人布萊恩．馬赫，發現自己的福特廂型小貨車竟然動了起來，而他那隻肥肥胖胖的拳師、沙皮混種狗「班特利」就坐在駕駛座上。
馬赫對《每日新聞》的記者表示：「因為外面天氣很冷，我不想狗被凍僵，所以沒把車子熄火。接著，我一抬頭就看到我的貨車正朝我前面的櫥窗開來。」
不知用何方法開動這部靜止車輛的班特利，駕車衝進咖啡店的櫥窗內。所幸無人受傷。
咖啡店老闆派翠莎．麥卡西向《每日新聞》表示：「事後班特利還一直搖尾巴呢。」
