Forget taking the dog for a walk. This dog would rather drive — as long as he’s at the wheel.
Musician Bryan Maher was in a Long Island cafe near New York when he noticed his Ford van on the move and his dog Bentley, a hefty boxer and Shar-Pei mix, at the wheel.
“I left my car running because it’s cold outside and I didn’t want my dog to freeze,” Maher told the Daily News. “The next thing I knew, I looked up to see my van coming at me in the window.”
Bentley, who had somehow set the parked vehicle in motion, crashed into the cafe window. No one was hurt, though.
“Bentley was wagging his tail afterward,” cafe owner Patricia McCarthy told the News.

This isn’t the first time a dog has been at the wheel of a car. In 2007, a black Labrador named Charlie put his owner’s car into gear, sending it rolling into a river.
