A man pleaded guilty on Aug. 24 to driving at 277 kilometers per hour in a sports car. He's the fastest car driver ever caught speeding in Britain.
Timothy Brady was caught in a police speed check near Abingdon, south central England, in January this year. He was driving a NT$6.5 million (US$197,000) Porsche 911 Turbo at the time.
The 33-year-old was traveling at 164kph over the national speed limit for a motorway. He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.

Brady doesn't know his sentence yet. But the judge warned Brady that he's likely to face jail time.
The highest speed police caught a car driver at before Brady is 251kph. The highest speed police ever caught a motorcyclist at is 282kph. The motorcyclist was caught after he filmed himself in the act. Both drivers were jailed.

在布拉迪之前,警方抓到的最高開車超速紀錄為時速兩百五十一公里,重型機車駕駛最高超速為時速兩百八十二公里。該重型機車騎士在錄下自己飆車行為後,遭到警方逮捕。兩位駕駛都因此入獄。
