Meet Kathleen the mouse and Mark the elephant.
Kathleen is very brave and likes adventure, but Mark is very shy and scared of many things. But friends stay together, so Mark follows Kathleen
wherever she goes. Sometimes they get into some very sticky situations.
The gray-faced bandit 灰面大盜
One day Kathleen went to the post office to mail an important letter. She looked over at a bulletin board while she was waiting in line and saw a picture of an elephant.
"That looks just like Mark," she said.
Kathleen went and took a closer look. It was Larry Long Trunk, a notorious elephant who was wanted for robbing three banks down south.
"I'll have to tell Mark about this," she said.
Meanwhile, Mark woke up and looked in the refrigerator. He was very hungry, but there was no food left. Mark thought about waiting for Kathleen to go get breakfast with her, but then his stomach started growling.
"I better go get breakfast right away," he said.
The evening before Mark had spent all of his money at the rodeo, so on his way to the restaurant, Mark stopped at the bank. When it was his turn, he went to the counter to make a withdrawal.
"How may I help you," the bank teller said, as she pushed a button under the desk.
"I'd like to make a withdrawal," Mark said.
Suddenly Mark felt something metal touching his back. It was the security guard's gun! And Mark heard sirens outside…

Write your own ending to the story! 寫下你的故事結局:
Idea 1: Mark is very scared and begins shaking. What does the security guard do? Do the police run into the bank? Does Mark end up in jail?
Idea 2: Kathleen walks by the bank just as the police show up. She looks in the window and sees that Mark is in trouble. Do the police listen to her? Does she rush into the bank? Does the security guard think that she's trying to help Mark rob the bank?
Idea 3: The police rush into the bank and handcuff Mark. He's too big to fit into the police car, so they decide to walk him to the police station. They pass by Kathleen on the way. What does Kathleen do to try to help Mark? Are the police willing to listen to a mouse in a dress? Does Mark ever get to eat breakfast?
