    Would you ever eat a bug?

    Lots of people think that bugs taste really bad, but some people think they taste really good. In fact, bugs are considered a very special food in some parts of the world. They are also very good for your health.

    The man in this picture is eating a bug called a grasshopper, but there are many other kinds of bugs that people eat. If you go to the right place, you can buy cooked spiders, worms, beetles and flies. You can get soups and salads made with bugs. You can even get a hamburger made from bugs!

    Shrimp and lobsters, which are considered delicacies in many Western countries, are a part of the same group of animals (arthropods) as insects. Escargots is a French delicacy made with snails.
