Taiwan should become a global model for development as an economy of creativity and knowledge. There are many highly talented people in Taiwan, and combined with its knowledge capital, this can give Taiwan a lasting competitive advantage.
Taiwan should take several measures in order to succeed in a globalized creativity economy.
First, it should support diversity, to make international politics move toward a type of managing process that is rational, peaceful, and can build on global cooperation. Also, this can give Taiwan room to fully develop the influence of a medium-sized nation, with the blessing of international society and under a system of diversity.
Second, on the globalized economic stage, Taiwan should take advantage of its geography, the high quality of its human resources and creativity, and develop areas like international trade, financial transactions within an international entrepreneurial structure.
Third, Taiwan should develop relations with international non-governmental organizations, and use the Taiwan Broadcasting System to promote globalization of industries of cultural creativity, digital content, and media, and show the world how great a diverse culture consisting of different civil groups and ethnic groups like Hakka, Aborigine and Han Chinese can be.
