Cut the `Taipei, China' crap

I'm writing to respond to Chi Chunhuei's opinion that "Taiwan must show sincerity to use Taipei, China to join the WHO" (Letters, May 25, page 8). In my opinion, sincerity has been shown by Taiwan and wickedness has been shown by China. I would urge Chi to visit Taiwan to know that Taiwan is Taiwan, and not "Taipei, China."

All foreigners -- including Chinese like Chi -- who enter Taiwan will be treated the same as if they were entering any other country. So, don't utter that crap about "Taipei, China." Taiwan is not being governed by the Chinese National Party (KMT) anymore, so this "Taipei, China" crap has not been valid for six years.
