Three new sets of stamps would be issued in the second quarter of the year, featuring “Cute Pets,” “Taiwan Scenery — New Taipei City” and “Taiwan Railway Trains,” Chunghwa Post Co said.
The Cute Pets stamp series — a continuation of a previous series — is scheduled for release on April 21, it said.
Following last year’s series featuring dogs and cats, the new set would include pets such as rabbits, turtles, hamsters, geckos and parrots, it said.

The latest set would include 10 stamps, each with a denomination of NT$8, it added.
The Taiwan Scenery stamp series is to be released on May 19, the state-run postal service said.
Continuing the Taiwan Scenery series launched in 2016, the new set highlights iconic landmarks in New Taipei City and features four stamps with denominations of NT$6, NT$8, NT$9 and NT$28, it said.

Finally, the Taiwan Railway Trains stamp series (second edition) is scheduled for release on June 5, it said, adding that the series’ first edition was released on July 7 last year.
This new set focuses on tourist trains and includes six stamps, each with a denomination of NT$8, Chunghwa Post Co said.
