Monthly subscription fees for Netflix in Taiwan are to remain as they are for now following a price update in Hong Kong, the Los Gatos, California-based video streaming service provider said yesterday.
There has yet to be an announcement about any price changes in Taiwan, the Netflix public relations office in Taipei told reporters.
Fee adjustments are applied differently depending on the country or region, it said.

Netflix offers three levels of monthly subscription — Basic, Standard and Premium — with the fees in Taiwan priced at NT$270, NT$330 and NT$390 respectively, it said.
The fee for each plan has been increased in Hong Kong by HK$10 to HK$15 (US$1.28 to US$1.92), it added.
The premium plan, which offers 4K HDR video quality, had the highest monthly fee hike to HK$108 from HK$93.
