翻譯 Translation
Qingqing: The weather’s been getting colder lately—it feels like it’s easy to catch a cold. Want to go eat some ginger duck or lamb hot pot together?
Huahua: I’ve been feeling a bit tired lately and would like to eat ginger duck, but I’m afraid if I eat something too nourishing all at once, I might get overheated.
Qingqing: Then let’s go have shiitake chicken soup. It’s less likely to cause internal heat and still warms you up nicely.
Huahua: Sounds good. What does your family usually eat in winter for nourishment?
Qingqing: We usually make sesame oil chicken. After eating it, it warms your whole body, and especially your hands and feet. I haven’t had shiitake chicken soup in a while either—it’s a great chance to treat myself.
Huahua: I’ve been on a dieting lately though… what if I eat too much and the weight comes right back?
Qingqing: Don’t worry, you can eat less meat and drink more soup—it’s still nourishing.
Huahua: Sounds good. Let’s go after work to warm up and get through the winter.
