Qingqing: Oh no, there might be a typhoon coming soon.
Huahua: Really? I was just planning to go on a trip.
Qingqing: You should check again. During a typhoon, there’s often strong wind and heavy rain. It’s best not to go out.
Huahua: I’ll go buy some food and water first, so I won’t worry if the water or powergets cut off.
Qingqing: Don’t forget to get in some bread and instant noodles too, so you won’t go hungry.
Huahua: I wonder if there will be a typhoon day off?
Qingqing: If the wind and rain are too strong, local governments will announce class and work cancellations. Be sure to watch for official updates.
Huahua: Got it. I hope the typhoon doesn’t cause serious damage and that everyone stays safe.
