Popular South Korean actor Song Joong Ki has swept Asia in his role as the handsome and humorous Captain Yoo Si-jin in the hit Korean TV drama, Descendants of the Sun. Aside from shooting a new movie, Song has also launched a series of fan meetings across Asia.
Recently, Song visited Taiwan to meet 4,200 “Mrs Songs” at a Taipei fan meeting. For his three-day trip to Taiwan, the organizer gave him the best treatment, arranging for him to stay at a hotel room worth NT$1.16 million (US$36,000) for two nights.
When the attractive Song appeared in a blue and grey printed suit at the Taipei fan meeting, all his fans started to scream instantly. Displaying his qualities as a warm and charming man, he put on his roller skates to act out a role from the Taiwanese movie Our Times and happily went roller-skating hand in hand with a fan.
