Agan humiliated by big loss to rampaging Bulls

By Paul Huang  /  CONTRIBUTING REPORTER

Total domination was the best way to describe the Sinon Bulls' 10-0 victory over the First Securities Agan in Kaohsiung last night.

The Bulls hitters let off steam from the off after their 8-4 loss on Thursday night as they took on four different Agan pitchers to collect 14 hits.

Bulls starter Osvaldo Martinez gave up three harmless hits as he cruised through seven shutout innings, before handing the game over to fellow closer Ramon Morel.

Morel did not disappoint his teammates as he held the troubled Agan scoreless in the last two innings to keep the shutout intact for the visiting Bulls.

Agan starter Hsu Wen-hsiung (許文雄) fell victim to a powerful Bulls lineup as he gave up four runs in as many innings.

Out-of-form Hsu was relieved by three different pitchers, who gave up two runs apiece.

Soong ended his six-inning outing giving up six runs on eight hits, in a losing effort.

Lions starter Tseng Yi-chen (曾翊誠) pitched five-and-two-third innings before he was pulled out of the game due to a knee injury.

His stellar pitching performance got him the first victory of the season.
