Tonight indie rock club Revolver hosts live music from New Sunglasses (新墨鏡), Sugar Lady and Silent Toads (啾吉惦惦). On Saturday, L.I.L. presents “Electric Relaxation (Loungin’ and Bouncin’) with DJs Vicar, JackoL and Wright, among others. On Wednesday, the venue hosts live music from The Okay Cars and The Motions. (Last week, the incorrect concerts were listed for this venue. The Taipei Times regrets the error).

Dark Eyes performs gypsy jazz at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言) tonight. Tomorrow, it’s indie rock and electronica acts Rosy (玫瑰紅) and Miss Banana (香蕉小姐). On Sunday, rock groups Crimson (飛紅樂團) and OverTone take the stage. Monday is the venue’s weekly open jam.

Singer-songwriter Annie Hung (洪安妮) and Mando-pop singer Hsiao Hung-jen (蕭閎仁) perform tonight at Riverside Live House (河岸留言西門紅樓展演館). On Thursday, it’s pop singer Rebecca (同恩), who shares the bill with indie-pop group Goosander (川秋沙).

Ash and Friends perform modern jazz standards tonight at Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge hosting jazz mostly. Tomorrow saxophonist Terry Hsieh (謝明諺) leads his ensemble Texas Cactus. The Expats Trio are on Tuesday and Trio JT performs on Wednesday.

On Fridays at Italian restaurant Capone’s, Taipei Swing holds dance socials with live music from electric blues band Bopomofo (ㄅㄆㄇㄈ). On Saturday, drummer Abe Nbugu Kenyatta leads a band playing music from his hometown of New Orleans. Iris sings “romantic chansons” Sunday nights and on Wednesdays, it’s Latin music from guitarist Roberto Zayas. Duo Blurrs Bros perform blues and American songbook tunes on Thursdays.
