The Taiwanese women’s team in the compound bow event at the Madrid 2025 Hyundai Archery World Cup won gold on Saturday.
The team, comprised of Taiwanese archers Huang I-jou (黃逸柔), Chen Yi-hsuan (陳怡瑄) and Chiu Yu-erh (邱鈺 兒), defeated their Indian counterparts Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur and Prithika Pradeep 227-225.
The Taiwanese archers defeated team South Korea in the semifinal, with the Koreans going on to win the bronze medal after downing Indonesia.

The Taiwan women’s team compound bow win came in stage 4 of the world cup held in Spain from July 8-13.
The first stage of the world cup was held in Florida, United States, followed by Shanghai, China and Antalya, Turkiye.
The final stage will be held in Nanjing, China, from Oct. 17-19.
