“I’m really happy with the result. Although the other competitors have impressive backgrounds and accolades, I’m just focused on myself and becoming the best I can be,” Feng said.
Feng prepared by competing in last year’s Chinese Taipei National Championships and weekly training, and cycled once around the track before yesterday’s competition, he said.
Yesterday’s wind conditions were also favorable, he added.
After winning the bronze medal, Feng thanked Team Taiwan, in particular, cyclists Yang Chen-kun (楊振坤) and Liu Chin-feng (劉金峯) for their time and effort in helping him to prepare for yesterday’s race.

Oil-funded LIV, which poached top stars and sent golf’s establishment into a tailspin, helped push the conservative kingdom into global view — one of its key aims, experts said. The exit, confirmed on Thursday after weeks of speculation, does not signal a flight of Saudi money from sport, even after the Middle East war that sparked Iranian attacks around the Gulf, they said. “Saudi Arabia is not
