Venezuelan midfielder Juan Anor scored a goal and was involved in another as Malaga beat Getafe 3-0 in La Liga on Friday.
Anor scored in the ninth minute when he skillfully dribbled past three Getafe players before sending a low shot inside the post past goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
“We’ve been playing well for some time now and adding points, which is important,” Anor said. “We gave our fans something to feel happy about tonight and that’s good.”

The 22-year-old later threaded a superb pass to Charles for the Brazilian forward to then cross to unmarked Ghanian midfielder Christian Atsu, who doubled Malaga’s tally in the 24th minute.
Charles emphasized Malaga’s first-half superiority when he scored his ninth league goal of the season in the 43rd minute by stabbing a right-footed shot past a stranded Guaita.
“That was an awful match, our team wasn’t up to the standard of a first-division game,” Getafe midfielder Pedro Leon said.
“The first three chances they had led to goals and we shouldn’t have allowed that to happen,” he said.
Malaga are in 10th place in the standings on 30 points after 23 matches, four ahead of 11th-placed Getafe.
