A woman who recently drove her car into a ditch after consuming a considerable amount of alcohol was apparently oblivious of the situation, because when the police and firefighters arrived to rescue her they were surprised to find she was still sleeping soundly.
The woman, surnamed Lee, was driving drunk on the afternoon of Oct. 16 when she drove into a roadside ditch. The left side of the vehicle was wedged into the ditch. When the police and firefighters arrived on the scene, they started to tow the car out, but the woman didn’t move a muscle. She was sent to the hospital for a checkup and found to be fine, although she still appeared to be unconscious. The police and firefighters only discovered she was fast asleep when they heard her snoring. A blood test showed that she was way over the limit.
According to the police investigation, Lee lives in Greater Kaohsiung’s Nanzih District. She was driving home along the highway as usual, but was drunk and disoriented, and drove the car into the ditch.

It is understood that the 40-year-old Lee opened a small eatery with a friend, and often has to drink with customers at the shop. Since the eatery usually closes in the small hours of the morning, the police could not understand why she was still so drunk the following afternoon. They suspect that she drank until the sun came up, possibly as late as noon, and that she drove her car home while she was still under the influence. Lee said she had been drinking the night before, but that she took a few hours rest before driving.

Earthquakes are among the most terrifying natural disasters, generating massive tremors and destructive forces as Earth’s crust shudders. These tremors not only lead to the collapse of buildings but can also trigger secondary disasters, such as tsunamis and fires. However, we can mitigate the impact on lives and property by mastering earthquake response techniques. The DCH three-step strategy, recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is crucial during an earthquake. “D” stands for “drop.” You should immediately drop to the ground, using your hands and knees to support yourself. This position prevents you from falling and

The furry creatures are also known for their wide range of vocal expressions. They can produce a surprising range of sounds — up to 40 in total. The most well-known fox vocalization is the scream-like howl, but they also use barks, chatters, and whines to communicate with each other. These sounds are used to defend territory, attract mates, and care for their young. Besides the variety of sounds foxes utter and their possible use of the
