Microsoft Taiwan released a software and Internet package designed for small businesses yesterday, featuring the Chinese versions of Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server 4.5 and Microsoft Office 2000, bundled with SEEDNet Internet access.
The package is designed for business managers to handle and integrate file sharing, database, printer, e-mail, fax, Internet, and other applications, Microsoft officials said.
The software and Internet package is designed for small businesses that use less than 50 PCs and have no IT personnel on their staff.

Officials from Microsoft Taiwan said all businesses that buy the package between September 1 and December 31 will enjoy unlimited 128K ISDN access to the Internet for three months by paying an extra NT$9,000. The customers will also enjoy 16 sets of fixed IPs and 20 business e-mail accounts. SEEDNet will also provide ZyXEL P1001H ISDN router service during the connection period.
