Israeli aircraft have struck Gaza six times since Hamas seized control of the strip from Fatah security forces two weeks ago.
On Wednesday, Israeli troops killed at least 11 Palestinians, including at least eight gunmen and a 12-year-old boy, in ground incursions into Gaza.
