The Moon Bridge in Greater Taipei’s Dahu Park is currently No. 1 in an ongoing online poll conducted by boredpanda.com, which asks voters’ opinions on the world’s most “mystical” old bridges.
The poll, titled “20+ Mystical Bridges That Will Take You To Another World,” asked people to vote for the most otherworldly bridge based on pictures of ancient, old-fashioned or primitive bridges submitted from around the world.

A netizen, named DoreenHollet, said of the Moon Bridge: “My favorite… Just beautifully composed with the bridge being the main draw. This one made me stop and look and enjoy more fully.”
Known for its arch structure and reflection, the Moon Bridge, constructed in 1979, is the centerpiece of Dahu Park. Surrounded by an abundance of verdant hills, the bridge exudes an antiquated charm and is frequented by visitors who seek to take a break away from busy urban life.
The Moon Bridge can be seen from MRT trains leaving and arriving at MRT Dahu Station.
The Glenfinnan Viaduct in Scotland, which was featured in numerous scenes in the popular Harry Potter movie franchise, ranked No. 9.
