Harmonica players win big at World Harmonica Festival

Taiwanese musicians have taken top prizes in three categories at the World Harmonica Festival 2009 in Germany.
Jang Li (§õÅý), a 25-year-old player from Taipei, won two events at the festival that ended on Sunday by outperforming 23 other competitors in the Solo Chromatic Jazz category and 22 other musicians in the Solo Diatonic Blues/Rock/Folk/Country category.
Hsieh Tsung-ying (Á©v¿o) and Chang Chu-ting (±iµ®´@) placed second and third respectively out of 27 musicians in the Solo Diatonic Tremolo category.
A group from Jhuangwei Elementary School in Yilan County won the School Orchestra prize.
