DPP Secretary-General Wu Nai-jen (吳乃仁) said that Tsai’s room had been arranged by her secretary with her safety and convenience as priority.
DPP spokesman Cheng Wen-tsang (鄭文燦) said in a press release that Tsai had stayed in several places as she toured disaster areas in recent days, including smaller hotels and family-owned guesthouses.
