Tang, however, didn't provide any proof to support the accusation he made against Wang, who is with the Tainan District Prosecutors' Office.
Tang was imprisoned for fraud last year. He completed his sentence in May and fled to China in August.
Prosecutors had asked for a six-and-a-half-year sentence for Tang for making the illegal weapon used in the March 19, 2004, shooting. He was placed on the wanted list late last month for failing to show up for questioning.
Earlier this week, Tang retracted his original confession, claiming it was part of a plot fabricated by the police.
Tang said the findings of the so-called "319 shooting" investigation report were the result of a conspiracy between police and prosecutors and that he was granted release on condition that he would cooperate and leave the country.

Scoot announced yesterday that starting in October, it would increase flights between Taipei and Japan’s Narita airport and Hokkaido, and between Singapore and Taipei.
