Taiwan Quick Take: Print cartridges accepted

A local charity urged the public on Monday to donate used laser printing cartridges to support a fundraising campaign promoting the welfare of the mentally challenged. The drive was launched by the Syin-Lu Foundation in cooperation with CyberTek Corp, a company specializing in recycling printer cartridges. Under the program, the foundation will receive a recycling incentive of up to NT$400 from the company for each cartridge collected, with the award varying according to the brand and model of the products. Officials of the Syin-Lu Foundation said companies and individuals intending to donate used cartridges can call the foundation at (02) 2592-9778 or (07) 3219911.
