Taiwan’s Hsieh Su-wei rallied past Eleni Daniilidou of Greece 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 to advance to the final round of the rain-drenched Malaysian Open yesterday.
Daniilidou was playing her second match of the day after she defeated Olivia Rogowska 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 in their quarter-final that was suspended on Friday with Daniilidou leading 6-2, 3-2.
Hsieh will face the winner of the other semi-final between second seed Jelena Jankovic and fifth seed Petra Martic. As of press time, their match had not started because of rain.

Jankovic reached the semi-finals without having to pick up her racquet after Ayumi Morita pulled out injured, the second withdrawal in two days.
