The Sinon Bulls made it two wins in a row by taming the Uni-President Lions 11-5 at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium last night to finish the first half of the season on a high.
Lin Tsong-nan and Lan Hsao-bai led the Bulls’ hitters in a five-run first with a double each to spot starter Luo Cheng-long a quick 5-0 lead.
Even though the Lions got three of those runs back over the next two innings to make it 5-3, the opportunistic Bulls promptly returned the favor by piling on three runs in the bottom of the third to reclaim an 8-3 advantage.

After a rain delay that lasted nearly two hours, the Lions managed to put a run on the board in the fourth and fifth that made it 8-5.
That was as close as they got as the Sinon bullpen buckled down and held the Lion hitters scoreless the rest of the way, with Chang Geng-hao and Lin Chi-wei combining for three innings of shutout relief to preserve the victory.
Chang was credited with his second win of the year for his two innings of perfect relief with three strikeouts.
Tagged with the loss for the Lions was starter Ken Rayborn, who served up seven runs on as many hits in two-plus innings of work for his second defeat of the year.
Offensively for the victorious Bulls, Lin Yi-chuan continued his red-hot hitting from the night before (two-for-four) with three hits on the night, while Cheng Da-hong racked on three RBIs and scored twice on the pair of hits.

Scott McTominay scored with an acrobatic bicycle kick before halftime and Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead with a solo goal after the break in the decisive 2-0 home win over Cagliari. Conte became the first coach to win the Italian championship with three different teams. “Everyone contributed to this — but the coach most of all,” Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo said. “Napoli needed him to get back on top. He’s phenomenal.” Comparing it to his three Serie A titles won

SSC Napoli coach Antonio Conte has dragged the team back from disaster and restored them to the top of Italian Serie A, but his future at the Scudetto winners is in doubt even after a triumphant season. The fiery 55-year-old has exceeded preseason expectations and bolstered his reputation as a serial winner by guiding Napoli to their fourth Scudetto, and second in three seasons. However, he might well be on his way in the summer after just one season at the helm as his charged relationship with Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has simmered throughout the campaign. Conte has said
