Chuck Kobasew leads Bruins to victory over Rangers

Chuck Kobasew had a goal and an assist, leading the Boston Bruins to a 3-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday and a sweep of the key two-game weekend series.
Kobasew scored in the first period, after netting two goals on Saturday in Boston, and set up Glen Metropolit in the third for the Bruins, who moved three points ahead of the Rangers in the Eastern Conference playoff race with two games in hand.
Tim Thomas followed his 25-save effort in Saturday's shootout win by stopping 30 in the rematch.
Stars 5, Ducks 2
In Dallas, Brenden Morrow and Niklas Hagman scored two goals each to help Dallas end Anaheim's six-game winning streak.
Stephan Robidas had a rare goal on a first-period power play, and Marty Turco made 18 saves to help the Stars move past the Ducks and into first place in the Pacific Division.
The Stars have won five of their last eight games, and are 4-1 against the Ducks this season.
Devils 3, Maple Leafs 2
In Newark, New Jersey, John Madden scored two goals and Martin Brodeur made 34 saves, helping New Jersey end a two-game losing streak at home.
Travis Zajac also scored for the Devils, who handed Toronto its first loss in three games.
Darcy Tucker and Pavel Kubina scored in the third period.
In other games, it was: Oilers 4, Thrashers 2; Flyers 6, Senators 1; Avalanche 3, Blue Jackets 1.
