NFL: Parcells to choose floundering Miami over Falcons: report

Veteran National Football League (NFL) coach Bill Parcells is apparently poised to take on the task of rebuilding the floundering Miami Dolphins.
The Miami Herald reported on Wednesday that Parcells had agreed to become the club's head of football operations, choosing the position over an offer from the Atlanta Falcons.
The newspaper, citing a source in the Dolphins organization, said Parcells had agreed to a four-year deal with Miami after owner Wayne Huizenga assured him that he would not be selling the team.
The Dolphins had no immediate comment on the report, which seems sure to mean the departure of first-year coach Cam Cameron.
Under Cameron, the Dolphins lost their first 13 games of the season, finally winning one just last Sunday.
