The Boston Celtics lost their 14th consecutive game on Friday, falling 100-89 to Elton Brand and the Los Angeles Clippers and setting a franchise record for futility.
Brand had 26 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks and Cuttino Mobley added 20 points for the Clippers, who have won seven of their last eight.
Tim Thomas scored 12 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, five of them during a 7-0 stretch in which LA turned a 71-69 deficit into a 76-71 lead.

At Indianapolis, Jermaine O'Neal scored 22 points and Indiana used a 17-2 fourth-quarter run to beat the Los Angeles Lakers.
Jamaal Tinsley finished with 16 points, Darrell Armstrong and Danny Granger each had 14 and O'Neal grabbed nine rebounds for Indiana in the Pacers' fifth win in six games. Kobe Bryant had 22 points on 7-of-25 shooting for the Lakers.

At Orlando, Florida, Hedo Turkoglu scored 22 points, Dwight Howard had 19 and Orlando held All-Star Jason Kidd scoreless to beat New Jersey.
Orlando rookie J.J. Redick tied his season high with 13 points and the Magic shot 62.5 percent.

At Atlanta, Chris Bosh scored 24 points and Morris Peterson had 21 to lead Toronto past Atlanta.
Winners of five of six, the Atlantic Division-leading Raptors improved to 24-23, the first time since the 2001-2002 season that they've been over .500 this late.
Bosh also had 10 rebounds. Joe Johnson led the Hawks with 28 points.
