Running back Tiki Barber, a key factor in the New York Giants' run to the National Football League playoffs, reportedly has his post gridiron career well mapped out.
The New York Post reported on its Web site on Monday that Barber will sign a four-year, US$10 million-dollar contract to work in television with Disney.
According to the report, Barber is expected to work for both ABC News and the ESPN sports channel.
The agreement calls for Barber to work on both Good Morning America and 20/20.
For ESPN, the report said Barber's role is undefined, although he could be a candidate if Tony Kornheiser were to decide to leave the Monday Night Football booth.
Barber, who already does television work outside the sports realm, stunned NFL observers in October when he said this would be his last season.
This season, he amassed 1,662 yards on the ground and another 465 yards on 58 catches.
