Steve Hutchinson returns to Seattle, Steve Smith hopes to make a case for best receiver and a quarterback rivalry could be born in tomorrow's NFL games.
Three-time Pro Bowl guard Hutchinson returns to Seattle but he will not be protecting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck or blocking for Shaun Alexander.
Instead, Hutchinson will pass protect for Brad Johnson and block for Chester Taylor when the Minnesota Vikings visit to play the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks are 4-1 without Hutchinson. But his absence on the left side of the line next to Pro Bowl tackle Walter Jones has been felt by Seattle.
Hasselbeck has been sacked 17 times in five games after getting dumped just 27 times last season.
The pass rush is causing Hasselbeck to get rid of the ball quicker than he would like, resulting in seven interceptions. He had nine all of last season.
The absence of Hutchinson was never more evident that in a 37-6 loss at Chicago on Oct. 1.
With him, the Seahawks would have had a better chance against the Bears' pass rush.
Defensive tackle Tommie Harris recorded two sacks in his matchup against Spencer, who was a center in college before he shifted to guard for Seattle.
"There's no doubt it's a tough loss, but I think it's one we'll overcome," Hasselbeck said of losing Hutchinson.
Best receiver
Likeable wiseguy Terrell Owens gets all the publicity, but Steve Smith has stated his case as the best wide receiver in the NFL.
Smith and the Carolina Panthers visit the Cincinnati Bengals, who have a Pro Bowl wide receiver of their own.
Smith led the NFL with 1,563 receiving yards and tied for first with 103 receptions and 12 touchdown catches last season.
Then in the playoffs, he added 27 more receptions for 335 yards and three touchdowns.
Smith's value was never more apparent than this season when he missed the first two games with a hamstring injury and the Panthers scored a total of 19 points in losses to Atlanta and Minnesota.
Four in a row
Since his return, the Panthers have won four in a row and scored a total of 90 points in those games. Smith has been largely responsible for that with 31 catches for 450 yards and two touchdowns.
The Bengals will be without left tackle Levi Jones, who will require arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.
Rookie Andrew Whitworth, a second-round pick out of LSU, is expected to replace Jones in the lineup and will line up against right end Mike Rucker, who has yet to record a sack after compiling 7 1/2 last season.
Cincinnati already has been without starting centre Rich Braham, who suffered a knee injury in week two.
The Panthers are playing their third straight game against an AFC North opponent.
The fastest quarterback in the NFL faces the youngest one to win a Super Bowl tomorrow when the Atlanta Falcons host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Michael Vick has proved to be more dangerous with his legs than his arm in his six seasons with the Falcons.
Ben Roethlisberger won a Super Bowl in his second season with the Steelers and owns a record of 28-7, including playoffs.
The two will duel for the first time tomorrow at the Georgia Dome.
Vick faced the Steelers just once before in a game that ended in a 34-34 tie at Pittsburgh on Nov. 10, 2002. He threw for 294 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 38 yards and a score.
The Falcons yielded 185 rushing yards to Tiki Barber in last week's 27-14 loss to the New York Giants.
For the last three seasons, Atlanta has been the NFL's best rushing team. That is largely attributed to Vick, who has rushed for 1,900 yards and 11 touchdowns since the start of the 2004 campaign.
However, last week Vick was sacked seven times and fumbled four times, losing one, in a loss to the Giants.
He did get his 21st career rushing touchdown - a 22-yard run - but completed only 14-of-27 passes for 154 yards with an interception.
A three-time Pro Bowler, Vick has just a 66.0 quarterback rating, completing 59-of-117 passes for 676 yards and three touchdowns with three interceptions.
Other games feature Detroit at New York Jets, Green Bay at Miami, Jacksonville at Houston, New England at Buffalo, Philadelphia at Tampa Bay, San Diego at Kansas City, Denver at Cleveland, Arizona at Oakland and Washington at Indianapolis.
The New York Giants travel to Dallas for Monday night's game.
Revelations of positive doping tests for nearly two dozen Chinese swimmers that went unpunished sparked an intense flurry of accusations and legal threats between the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the head of the US drug-fighting organization, who has long been one of WADA’s fiercest critics. WADA on Saturday said it was turning to legal counsel to address a statement released by US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) CEO Travis Tygart, who said WADA and anti-doping authorities in China swept positive tests “under the carpet by failing to fairly and evenly follow the global rules that apply to everyone else in the world.” The
Taiwanese judoka Yang Yung-wei on Saturday won silver in the men’s under-60kg category at the Asian Judo Championships in Hong Kong. Nicknamed the “judo heartthrob” in Taiwan, the Olympic silver-medalist missed out on his first Asian Championships gold when he lost to Japanese judoka Taiki Nakamura in the finals. Yang defeated three opponents on Saturday to reach the final after receiving a bye through the round of 32. He first topped Laotian Soukphaxay Sithisane in the round of 16 with two seoi nage (over-the-shoulder throws), then ousted Indian Vijay Kumar Yadav in the quarter-finals with his signature ude hishigi sankaku gatame (triangular armlock). RALLY: It was only the second time the Taiwanese has partnered with Kudermetova, and the match seemed tight until they won seven points in a row to take the last set 10-2 Taiwan’s Chan Hao-ching and Russia’s Veronika Kudermetova on Sunday won the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix women’s doubles final in Stuttgart, Germany. The pair defeated Norway’s Ulrikke Eikeri and Estonia’s Ingrid Neel 4-6, 6-3, 10-2 in a tightly contested match at the WTA 500 tournament. Chan and Kudermetova fell 4-6 in the first set after having their serve broken three times, although they played increasingly well. They fought back in the second set and managed to break their opponents’ serve in the eighth game to triumph 6-3. In the tiebreaker, Chan and Kudermetova took a 3-0 lead before their opponents clawed back two points, but
Taiwanese gymnast Lee Chih-kai failed to secure an Olympic berth in the pommel horse following a second-place finish at the last qualifier in Doha on Friday, a performance that Lee and his coach called “unconvincing.” The Tokyo Olympics silver medalist finished runner-up in the final after scoring 6.6 for degree of difficulty and 8.800 for execution for a combined score of 15.400. That was just 0.100 short of Jordan’s Ahmad Abu Al Soud, who had qualified for the event in Paris before the Apparatus World Cup series in Qatar’s capital. After missing the final rounds in the first two of four qualifier
