Keith Primeau and Mark Recchi scored power-play goals 59 seconds apart in the third period on Tuesday, lifting the Philadelphia Flyers into a 2-2 tie with the Dallas Stars.
Mike Modano and Jason Arnott scored for Pacific Division-leading Dallas, which has the best record in the NHL at 18-7-7-1. The Flyers, first in the Atlantic, are unbeaten in four (3-0-1).
Modano left the game less than five minutes after his goal after being checked hard into the boards by Jeremy Roenick that drew a major penalty.

Calder connected from the edge of the crease after Alex Zhamnov shot the puck at Vancouver goaltender Dan Cloutier from the left point. Vancouver's Todd Bertuzzi one-timed in a power-play goal in the final 5:51 of the third period to tie it at 2-2. Matt Cooke also scored for the Canucks, whose three-game unbeaten streak (2-0-1) ended.
Jocelyn Thibault stopped 28 shots, and Mark Bell and Sergei Berezin scored goals 1:47 apart in the second period for the Blackhawks.
