DPP Legislator Wang Sing-nan (王幸男) has accused the KMT of trying to revise the draft amnesty statute so that it would apply to KMT Legislator Chiu Yi (邱毅).

Chiu, imprisoned for violent conduct at a protest in Kaohsiung following the 2004 presidential election, started a 14-month sentence in late April.
