Twin indie pop musicians Yi-cheng, Yi-ching (依錚依靜) play a show at Legacy Mini, a spin-off of Legacy Taipei, on Sunday, while it is Jelly (傑利) from funk-rock/nu-metal band Coach (教練樂團) on Wednesday.

It is a night of metal noise tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists, with a troupe of metal groups including Taipei’s Beyond Cure (病入膏肓), Burning Island (火燒島) of Greater Tainan, Greater Taichung’s Flesh Juicer (血肉果汁機) and Massacre of Mothman (蛾人大屠殺) from Hong Kong. Tomorrow’s lineup features Auntie Roxy (搖滾大嬸), modern rock/emo punk act Dianna Band (狄安娜) and ZoAnVi (佐安薇), followed by psychedelic/post-rock band Islanders (島嶼樂團), indie rockers Hippocampus (海馬迴) and progressive metal/polyrhythm act Vulner on Sunday. Taiwanese visual rock band Naraku (奈落), J-pop group Nuit-Ark and Le’Sens Vie (生命本義) perform on Thursday.

Tonight, hardcore/punk outfit Thesameday (平凡生活) celebrates the release of its new EP at indie rock club Revolver, supported by Red Shoe Daniel (紅鞋丹尼) and When I See The Mushroom Cloud (蘑菇雲). Electronic duo Dronetonics arrive with their debut album tomorrow, with post-punk/garage rock group Tight Tight Crotch (緊褲襠) and Pleasure Science II (愉悅科學II) as special guests. Later that night, the venue hosts an electronic party featuring French DJ Sinus O and Taiwan’s Katrina, Kolette and White Shirt. Sunday’s roster includes psychedelic noise jam act The Junk (帆人) and Mare Cruiser, while Taiwanese blues rock band Swui (水樂隊) and post-rock group Sodium (鈉團) are among the performers on Wednesday. Thursday’s main act is blues/garage rock/punk band Wake Up Explosion (威愷爆炸).
