Jazz/alternative rock musician Early (安里) plays tonight at Witch House (女巫店), an intimate coffeehouse-style venue in the National Taiwan University area. It is solo folk rocker Birdman (日京江羽人) tomorrow.

Folk combo Four Pens (四枝筆樂團) appears tonight at Kafka on the Shore (海邊的卡夫卡), a coffee house-cum-music and arts venue in the National Taiwan University area. Indie rockers Bearbabes (熊寶貝) end their island-wide tour tomorrow at the venue.

The spotlight is on Mando-pop singer Tony Sun (孫協志) tonight at Riverside Live House (河岸留言西門紅樓展演館), and it is four-piece boy band What Century (花世紀) on Sunday. Thursday’s roster is formed by pop/electronic rock band Morning Call (輕晨電樂團) and Murky Crows.

Musa’s Trio perform jazz and Latin music tonight at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言). Also on the bill is young Chinese singer Shiny (呂程程). Taiwan’s pop singer Chen Pei-chieh (陳佩潔) croons tomorrow, followed by hip-hop group Chiu and Love (丘與樂) and GG Brotherz (把妹哥) on Sunday. Tuesday’s lineup includes grunge/Brit-pop band Arkmen (阿克曼樂團), and it is pop rockers Love Manana (愛的大未來) and Rosy (玫瑰紅) on Wednesday. Pop singer Iris Lin (林綾) and singing combo Missy Mute and Friends (吃頻小姐與她的好夥伴) are scheduled on Thursday.

Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge bar that hosts mostly jazz shows, hosts LEO37’s hip-hop jazz tonight. Andrew Salim Trio brings modern jazz tunes tomorrow.

Monday features Leavy crooning light jazz standards, followed by jazz duo Mary Jane and Nathan on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it’s Latin music from guitarist Roberto Zayas. Jazz singer Angel appears on Thursday.
