It is a jazz night tonight at Riverside Live House (河岸留言西門紅樓展演館), featuring award-winning guitarist Hsu Chih-min (許治民), celebrated jazz singer Emily Guan (官靈芝) and bass player Kuo Tsung-shao (郭宗韶). Radio hosts and musicians Tso Kuang-ping (左光平) and Hsu Che-wei (徐哲緯) appear tomorrow.

New York City’s leading guitarist and singer Teddy Kumpel plays with renowned drummer Jun Kung (恭碩良) from Hong Kong and bass player Michael Ning tonight at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言). Pop singer Lin Shao-wei (林少緯) is scheduled tomorrow, followed by Mando-pop group Every Planet (美味星球) and semi-UKE (蝦米烏克) on Sunday. Aboriginal groups TV Night Class (電視夜間部) and The Sun Goes Down (太陽下山) take the stage on Tuesday. Wednesday’s roster includes Yamama Fusion Band and pop rockers T.B.T (硬式紅茶). Malaysian musician Charis and her friend Ray perform on Thursday.

Acoustic folk duo Crispy (脆樂團) perform tonight at Kafka on the Shore (海邊的卡夫卡), a coffee house-cum-music and arts venue in the National Taiwan University area.

The Blues Vibration brings a soulful blend of Americana tonight at Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge bar that hosts mostly jazz shows. Saxophone player Terry jams with Japan Jazz Trio on Tuesday, followed by Ota Ahaha Masafumi Jazz on Wednesday. Hope Lazz Trio plays on Thursday.
