    HIGHLIGHT
    By Alita Rickards

The first Lost Lagoon weekend getaway in Wulai was one of the highlights of last year¡¦s out of town events. Next weekend it¡¦s all happening again with eight bands and 12 DJs. The lineup has returning favorites like High Tide, The Money Shot Horns and DJ Fratzuki, with new acts The Blue Trucks, Moss, and Dr Reniculous Lipz. God Wound and Future Man will be coming in from Australia to perform at the event, and London¡¦s Supermilkmen will be spinning on the decks.

Perks include free covered camping and drinking water, a bar stocked with brand-name alcohol (something which should be a given, but isn¡¦t) and a variety of food vendors. The venue, which has multiple swimming pools and hot tubs, is near a river and surrounded by lush foliage and mountains. Shuttle buses will run frequently from Xindian MRT Station (·s©±±¶¹B¯¸) to the venue. [See the full story in the Around Town section of next Friday¡¦s Taipei Times.]
