The fallout from the battle of the boobs being waged by sex kittens Shushu (舒舒) and Yaoyao (瑤瑤), real name Kuo Shu-yao (郭書瑤), continues this week with Next Magazine (壹周刊) entering into extended speculation about how Shushu, real name Tseng
Ya-ling (曾雅鈴), obtained her 32E bazookas.
The National Communications Commission (NCC) had voiced its disapproval when the pair gave a comprehensive rundown of their cha-chas on national television.
Seeing as young men across the country seem to have achieved unrivalled levels of excitement from watching Shushu get to grips with a pneumatic drill while wearing a sexy workman’s outfit and low-slung tank top in an ad for the Internet role-playing game Prophecy Online (預言Online), Next’s line of inquiry appears immaterial.
Whether Shushu’s turn in the advertisement is more or less sexually suggestive than rival Yaoyao’s now infamous ad for Kill Online (殺Online) — in which her breasts are shown swaying as she straddles an undulating exercise machine — is open to question, but both have been pulled from public broadcast for the present. Shushu’s ad has been taken down from buses.
Fortunately, for those bent, in the spirit of objective research, on determining the relative merits of Shushu and Yaoyao’s ads for themselves, they are still available on YouTube.
Yaoyao’s agent has accused Shushu of being a cheap knockoff of the original jug jiggler, but Next magazine helpfully quotes Shushu’s agent rebuffing allegations of breast enhancement.
“I’ve felt her tits, and they’re soft, not hard,” the unnamed agent is quoted as saying.
The maelstrom of publicity has seen Shushu lose a contract to open the season for the Uni-President Lions. Yaoyao opened the season for the La New Bears on March 29.
Yaoyao has responded to the brouhaha by saying that she will now keep her woofers under wraps and work on cultivating a cute and vivacious image.
This does not, however, preclude the publication of a photo album later this year in which Yaoyao dons nurse and sailor costumes.
“As to how much cleavage will be shown, we’ll keep that to a minimum,” her agent is quoted as saying. “You can’t really specify the number of inches of cleavage shown in the contract.”
Staying with the theme of exhibitionists, a new face is likely to capture major paparazzi attention if the reported relationship between porn star Maria Ozawa and local actor Bryant Chang (張睿家) takes off.
Ozawa, who visited Taiwan to attend Spring Scream last weekend, has a role in Invitation Only (絕命派對), billed as Taiwan’s first slasher horror film.
Chang has a starring role in the film, which is scheduled for release on April 17.
The star of such hardcore fare as Shemale Orgy Gangbang Rape and Enema Clyster Large Jet Best Collection for Japan’s DAS porn production house, Ozawa’s visit was much anticipated, and according to Next, super-stud Ethan Ruan (阮經天) had publicly expressed an interest in meeting her.
The magazine quoted Ruan as stating that he hoped his girlfriend would not be jealous, but there were things Ozawa could do that his girlfriend couldn’t.
Ruan reportedly got a slap on the wrist from his handlers at SetTV (三立) for making inappropriate comments and any meeting between the two was nixed.
In response to the publication of photos showing Chang and Ozawa getting up close and personal, the porn star would not commit herself beyond saying that Chang was a nice boy who was very considerate.
May 6 to May 12 Those who follow the Chinese-language news may have noticed the usage of the term zhuge (豬哥, literally ‘pig brother,’ a male pig raised for breeding purposes) in reports concerning the ongoing #Metoo scandal in the entertainment industry. The term’s modern connotations can range from womanizer or lecher to sexual predator, but it once referred to an important rural trade. Until the 1970s, it was a common sight to see a breeder herding a single “zhuge” down a rustic path with a bamboo whip, often traveling large distances over rugged terrain to service local families. Not only
Ahead of incoming president William Lai’s (賴清德) inauguration on May 20 there appear to be signs that he is signaling to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and that the Chinese side is also signaling to the Taiwan side. This raises a lot of questions, including what is the CCP up to, who are they signaling to, what are they signaling, how with the various actors in Taiwan respond and where this could ultimately go. In the last column, published on May 2, we examined the curious case of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) heavyweight Tseng Wen-tsan (鄭文燦) — currently vice premier
The last time Mrs Hsieh came to Cihu Park in Taoyuan was almost 50 years ago, on a school trip to the grave of Taiwan’s recently deceased dictator. Busloads of children were brought in to pay their respects to Chiang Kai-shek (蔣中正), known as Generalissimo, who had died at 87, after decades ruling Taiwan under brutal martial law. “There were a lot of buses, and there was a long queue,” Hsieh recalled. “It was a school rule. We had to bow, and then we went home.” Chiang’s body is still there, under guard in a mausoleum at the end of a path
Last week the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) released a set of very strange numbers on Taiwan’s wealth distribution. Duly quoted in the Taipei Times, the report said that “The Gini coefficient for Taiwanese households… was 0.606 at the end of 2021, lower than Australia’s 0.611, the UK’s 0.620, Japan’s 0.678, France’s 0.676 and Germany’s 0.727, the agency said in a report.” The Gini coefficient is a measure of relative inequality, usually of wealth or income, though it can be used to evaluate other forms of inequality. However, for most nations it is a number from .25 to .50
