Walking into his exhibition room is a bit like taking a trip on the Starship Enterprise, as glass doors swish open to reveal a space illumined by just red safelights in the empty display cabinets.
It is the future age of extinction and two dogs roam the National Palace Museum collection - their shadowy, animated images flitting from screen to screen - where just the memories of millennia survive like spirits.
According to the artist, "The culture of experimental film is becoming less defined and therefore it is appropriate these works are shown in galleries and even museums. What used to be separate is now merging."
