With more than a few hints of the Wachowski Brothers' Assassins (1995), Fulltime Killer tells the story of a young aspiring killer named Tok, played by Andy Lau (劉德華), who hopes to be the best in the business. Sorimachi plays the reclusive O, a master assassin. His house keeper, the beautiful and virtuous Chin, played by Kelly Lin (林熙蕾), is used byTok to make O emerge from hidding. O is being pursued by policeman Lee, who has long been searching for him. As the two assassins and the policeman set themselves on a collision course, Tok finds that if he is to survive, he must cooperate with O. But this cooperation only postpones the rivalry between the two professional killers.
