The Tai Tong Food & Beverage Group (TTFB, 瓦城泰統集團), which operates three restaurant chains with nearly 62 outlets in Taiwan, yesterday reported its consolidated sales for last year hit the highest level in the company’s history amid its continued expansion.
TTFB, which has three brands, including Thai Town Cuisine (瓦城泰式料理), Very Thai Restaurant (非常泰) and 1010 Hunan Cuisine (1010湘辣料理), posted NT$2.08 billion (US$68.78 million) in consolidated revenue last year.
The revenue for last year is up 20.11 percent from a year earlier, the group said in a statement.
Last year, TTFB opened a total of 17 new outlets in Taiwan and China, its largest expansion in a single year.
The company said sales for last month were NT$222.69 million, up 28.18 percent from a year earlier and 17.48 percent from a month earlier, thanks to higher demand from companies’ annual party needs, which helped to boost the company’s revenue during the October-to-December period to show a 31 percent year-on-year growth at NT$591.72 billion, marking the largest increase ever, the statement said.
The group yesterday said it retained its goal of expanding its total outlets across the Taiwan Strait to 100 by the end of this year, including 10 in China.
TTFB launched its first outlet in China under the Thai Town brand in Shanghai in November.
