Food and beverage operator Wowprime Corp (王品) yesterday said it aims to increase its number of outlets in Taiwan and China to 1,000 by 2020, with annual revenues totaling NT$40 billion (US$1.3 billion).
The restaurant group currently operates 209 outlets — 167 outlets in Taiwan and 42 restaurants across the Taiwan Strait, Wowprime chairman Steve Day (戴勝益) told a year-end company celebration yesterday.
He expects the company will see a 35 percent rise in revenues this year to NT$9.55 billion.
The company, which owns 11 restaurant brands in Taiwan, posted NT$8.69 billion in sales during the first 11 months of this year, company data showed.
Dai said that the company would offer employees a year-end bonus equal to three-and-a-half months’ salary this year and a 5 percent pay rise for next year.
Wowprime’s restaurants brands include Wang Steaks (王品台塑牛排), Tasty (西堤) and Tao Ban House (陶板屋), among others.
