Taiwan Mobile Co (台灣大哥大) has the highest mobile phone customer satisfaction rate of the nation’s major telecom providers, a survey released yesterday by the Consumers’ Foundation (消基會) showed.
A total of 39.8 percent of Taiwan Mobile customers said they were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with the firm’s service, compared with only 19.8 percent of Chunghwa Telecom Co (中華電信) mobile phone customers and 18.6 percent of Far EasTone Telecommunications Co Ltd’s (遠傳電信) customers.
The online survey of customer habits, company fees and customer satisfaction was conducted by the foundation between late March and April 25, with a total of 1,063 valid samples collected.
Among the questionnaires collected, 44.3 percent were from Chunghwa Telecom customers, 25.8 percent were Taiwan Mobile customers and 25.8 percent were Far EasTone customers.
Samples of 47 Vibo Telecom Co (威寶電信) customers, 36 First International Telecom Corp (大眾電信) customers, 28 Asia Pacific Telecom Group (亞太電信集團) customers and 24 customers of other providers were also included in the survey.
The customer satisfaction analysis was only conducted on the three main companies, as the size of the samples of customers of the other providers were too small, the foundation said.
The survey found that 23.4 percent of Chunghwa Telecom customers were “unsatisfied” or “very unsatisfied” with the company’s mobile phone services, compared with 19.7 percent of Far EasTone customers and just 15.3 percent of Taiwan Mobile customers.

Yet smart toys have been rising in popularity for some time. Many major European and US brands already offer tech-enhanced products that can enable long-distance love, monitor well-being and even bring people one step closer to
