Gigabyte joins motherboard war

Elitegroup expected to see its laptop computer sales outpace it motherboard sales next year, said Mike Chou (周昭武), a vice president at Elitegroup's marketing division.

Elitegroup, which bore the brunt of the price war in the first half, said January to November sales fell sharply by 26.69 percent to NT$43.44 billion from a year.
