The holders of one NT$10 million (US$302,792) and four NT$2 million unclaimed winners from the November-December uniform invoice lottery have been urged to collect their cash before the May 5 deadline.

The receipt was issued for a purchase worth NT$210 at a restaurant on Wenhua Third Road in Taoyuan's Gueishan District (龜山), the Ministry of Finance said in a statement today.
Among the unclaimed NT$2 million-winning receipts with the number 29892710, the smallest purchase was an NT$45 item sold at a FamilyMart on Liancheng Road in New Taipei City's Jhonghe District (中和).
The three others were for items costing between NT$100 and NT$399 issued by a Hi-Life convenience store in Taoyuan, an Ikea branch store in New Taipei City's Sinjhuang District (新莊) and via the e-commerce platform Shopee.
The uniform invoice lottery system, which draws winning numbers every two months, was created to encourage consumers to collect sales receipts as part of the ministry's efforts to prevent tax evasion.
The ministry said the draw for invoices issued in January and last month is to be held tomorrow.
