Democratic Progressive Party Legislator Lin I-chin’s (林宜瑾) offices in Taipei and Tainan were searched this morning as part of investigations into unspecified allegations.
Investigators with the Tainan District Prosecutors’ Office confiscated computers and documents from the lawmaker’s constituency service office in Tainan, although did not say whether they brought anyone in for questioning.
Another group of investigators searched her office at the Legislative Yuan in Taipei and collected one box of evidence, but did not take anyone for questioning.

Office staff and prosecutors declined to answer questions from reporters.
On Facebook, Lin said she was cooperating with the investigation.
“The judiciary will eventually prove my integrity,” she said.
“I want to tell all my supporters that no matter the reason for the investigation ... I will set an example and cooperate with the investigation to clarify the facts of the case,” she wrote.

Discounted 72-hour Taipei Metro passes are to be offered to China Airlines passengers until Feb. 28 next year, the airline announced today.
