The coach of Beijing Olympic gold medalists Brazil voiced his extreme dissatisfaction despite a straight-sets win over Puerto Rico at the Women’s World Volleyball Championship yesterday.
The Brazilians, runners-up to Russia four years ago, coasted to a 25-20, 25-18, 25-20 victory to remain unbeaten with four straight wins in the six-team Pool B round robin in Hamamatsu, Japan.
“I don’t like this match. I think we played a bad match today. We made many mistakes. We won this match, but I’m not happy,” Brazil coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes said.

Yassine Bounou on Wednesday saved two penalties, while Youssef en-Nesyri netted the decisive spot-kick as hosts Morocco secured a 4-2 shoot-out victory over Nigeria following a 0-0 draw in a tense Africa Cup of Nations semi-final in Rabat.
